Well, it wasn’t much of an extravaganza. We had a produce delivery at Chapel Ridge this morning, so afterwards, we practiced our putting on their practice green. We were hoping to hit some balls at the range, but the range wasn’t open yet. So, we zipped down the street to a local driving range where we hit a few balls.
Tonight we stopped in at McIntrye’s Books in Fearringtonton Village for their Literary Open Mike night. We left early, but had the chance to hear three artists’ tales. The first was the introduction of a novella set in Philadelphia.
Next, we heard a semi-pornographic adventure. The funny thing about the tale was that the author was an 85-year old man, whose wife was in attendence!
Lastly, we heard poetry from a New Orleans native.
