Today, we saw the hummingbird appear at the feeder for the first time this year. He did appear few days earlier to remind us to put out fresh sugar water in the feeder.

We had a big black snake helping himself to the eggs in the chicken’s nest boxes. After taking a few snap shots, we relocated him. Black snakes are great to have around to keep the rodents under control, but sometimes they get a little to used to us humans.
